Structure of the Person

The Pneuma (Pure Spirit)

The Spirit – Self

Pneuma-Psyche Boundary

Superior Veil (Waters Above)

Psyche-Pneuma Boundary

Nous (Mind)

(This is the primary connection of the Pneuma with the Psyche. This is the Spirit reaching into the Soul. This is also referred to as the Higher Intellect)


Collective Unconscious

(This is the deep area of our souls, where the content is common. This is the area of archetypes and the realm of the Greater Aions)


{Psyche (Soul)

(This is the where most “work” is done. This includes the Soma, the Inferior Veil, the Ego – Consciousness, the personal unconscious, the collective unconscious, the superior veil and into, but the whole of the Pneuma)}

Personal Unconscious

(This is comprised of complexes. This is the realm of the archons – or once redeemed, the lower aions.)

Shadow

(Those elements of consciousness that are rejected from the consciousness for any reason)

Ego – Consciousness

(Think of this as a spider web of awareness that is anchored in every significant aspect of the person – Consciousness, personal unconscious, collective unconscious, Soma, and Pneuma)

Persona

Psyche-Soma Boundary

Soma (Soul Enlivened Body)

  1. In the vocabulary list, there is no differentiation between the Pneuma and the Spirit. Are we to use Pneuma in the Stoic sense, which seems to be akin to Sanskrit prana or Chinese qi? Is this definition of Pneuma then equal to God as Essential?

  2. Sorry, I meant the vocabulary printout that you gave me. I just read the jargon section of the blog and it fleshed the terms out in greater detail. "As above, so below" certainly seems to hold here. Just as the Autogenes results from the union of Father and Mother, so too is our individual Spirit formed from the union of our human father and mother.

    Just remember, any mythical speculation about God is just that, speculation. Any concrete definition of God is inherently idolatrous. So, we can say "as above, so bellow," as long as we keep in mind that certainty is not necessary.
